Welcome to the Rehoboth Beach Police Department's web site.  We serve as the primary police department for the "Nation's Summer Capital"; a name given to Rehoboth Beach due to the number of visitors every year from Washington DC as well as surrounding states.  I invite you to take a few minutes of your time and  visit the various units on our web site.  The Rehoboth Beach Police Department adheres to a series of well defined policies and procedures to ensure the highest level of service to our full-time community and our visitors.  The information offered here is informative and often beneficial for those visiting our resort community for the first time.

MISSION STATEMENT

The mission of the Rehoboth Beach Police Department is to protect the lives and property of our fellow citizens; preserve the peace, order, and safety of our community we serve; safeguard those guarantees provided under the Constitution of the United States and the State of Delaware; enforce the law in a fair and impartial manner and provide other police related services as required by the community in a manner consistent with the values of a free society.
